Journey continue to London...

and here we are^^

Day-05 On the Train and Arrival in Generator Hostel

Well... I couldn't even sleep for a minute in the train... and this is what I am doing@@
KING'S CROSS ST. PANCRAS--> tadaaaaaa~~ Arrived... Spot something interesting in the public area of the hostel. 

The Lion King Theatre

Well... is so so so so so incredible including the set up, the arrangement,the sound the everything~ is so unbelievable... I would go to see again once I have a chance to reach there.

And also we have a short walk in Convent garden and have our first meal in London--> Fish n Chips

Day-06 SCIENCE MUSEUM 

In this building, is similar as Petronas Science Museum but is more bigger and professional... Including the product they sell, the arrangement, hand-on display unit, program and so on. The area have 5 floor but we can only proceed to third floor. Due to the time limitation, I actually have a fast 'pass by' for those information without hand-on activity or model/illustration attraction.

The best place is located at the 3rd floor which every equipment is waiting for you to experience. They don't direct give you answer through the display unit while you might need a guide to explain you a lot of knowledge in details. There are also a lot of activity been held in the center for example schedule experiment, school trip workshop, science discussion and so on. Activities are all arrange in a very detail and perfect way while the visitor can manage to try out a lot of things at there.

The other best exhibition hall for me is the hall that provide the history of the plane. The whole area is playing with a bridge just to let you see the plane nearer. By provide the darker lighting, the whole place is just like a place to park/stop the airplane while is not in-use. 

Oh ya, the best things for the museum is, is free~~ is a really nice place to explore, but maybe you can try to give out some donation for better maintain... 

Harrods--> Lilly White--> Convent Garden

Within the same day, we go to shopping!! Haha... I manage to bring some of them go to the market which selling a lot of interesting things in front of a church. Is special, is nice and is wonderful~~~ but too bad for us as we reach convent garden too late... and shop had already close...T.T

But, my friends did buy A LOT of clothes, shoes and bag@@ well... the price is quite attractive by the wayXDXD


Day-07 Change of Guard 

Early in the morning, we depart to the Buckingham Palace to watch the change of guard... is so crowded outside the palace while the opposite site is the Hyde park with trees and grass... we manage to see squirrels at there~~ is really WOW... after that we go to have lunch nearby the Kid's Discovery Center...

Kid's Discovery Centre and Olympic Park

The kid's Discovery center actually have a awesome ideas~ By started with the theme of Alien, they explore a lot of unique hand-on display unit. Is quite lucky for us because we can take photo easier as there is not much kids around there. 

About the Olympic park... Is still under construction, but for me is so new to see futuristic modern style building in UK... I quite like it^^ even I prefer to have more Heritage building... 

Historical Walk

Historical walk start from Big Ben, Cathedral, further view of London Eye, and other Historical Buildings around. Is so Incredible and the feeling is so unique after I see all those modern building and now go back to heritage building...

Oh, look, Hakim, Ms Sharmila and I are going in to the wall... swooshhhhhh~~ hahhhhaha... Well... we manage to take this picture in King's Cross Station and since is night time... we no need to queue for it XDXD LUCKYYYY~~ 

Day-08 Tate Modern and Tower Bridge 

After walk around in Arsenal stadium, part of us decide to leave the stadium without having tour inside. We depart to Tate Modern and start to Explore it... Is quite similar as the Pompodou in Paris... I mean the art work... 

After that we walk through the long bridge in front of it and have our Lunch--> Fish n Chips (again) at the road side. 

We reach London Tower and start to find our lecturer... But actually they are at Tower Bridge... What a misunderstanding... How Nano and I found it out is... We look snap their photo from far and zoom in to check their face... BINGO... we got it correctXDXD Seriously is fun rightXDXD

Royal Festival Hall & Meet up with Eva 

After walk around in Tower Bridge, we go to Royal festival hall, we are so lucky to found out there is a 'Night Market' which sell a lot of foods, cheese, jam and so on. There is a lot of delicious food while I can't actually try all.

After few hours tasting around, finally I manage to meet my cousin sister--> Eva... Feel so warm to meet siblings outside from your country~~~~~~ We walk along the river back to the tower bridge... after check in Hotel, we have dinner at a Spain Restaurant... Is really nice... you pay what you eat seriously... it really worth and hope that you all can have a try on their food if any of you manage to visit there... I will find out the name and show out after that...

Day-09 Gherkin, Lloyds

After having breakfast in Hotel we Eva, we decide to go to Gherkin and Lloyds... B-U-T............. There is such a long queue from the entrance all the way long to the shop opposite... few like it queue few miles away from entrance=='That's why I didn't manage to go... Hmmmm~~ well... is good enough for me already... at least I still manage to take photoof the exteriorXDXD 

Borough Market

The best place to experience the culture is MARKET... because a market usually have a lot of local selling stuff and local that always visit... including the food, pastry, pickles, cheese, jam, nuts and so on. Is quite hard to explain but I really hope that people that visit there can try out this unique market^^

British Museum and Gallery

This is the British Museum that actually located few steps from Generator Hostel... Is a bit different to compare the outside and inside as the inside part is like another world...

This is the mummies exhibition in the British Museum that attract me a lot. I manage to see the mummies from different century and level. After that we have a light-bite and we go to the Gallery and see Sunflowers~~~ is WOW... Is like I saw the real things from the reference book @@

After walk around, we go to buy souvenir for my family and have a last meal(Ramen) in London... Eva, thanks for being taking care of me in London. I hope you stay well and take care of yourself anywhere anytime^^ Miss you...

This trip end after the night bus depart from London to Paris...After transit to Paris Airport... We depart and say Hi to the reality... 

Before the reality we stop in Dubai for few hoursXDXD... well... Emirates food is incredible NICEEEEEEEE  XDXD haahha

Last but not least,

Thanks for the arrangement of bringing us to London and Paris... Hope that we can have a next trip in coming year^^

Experiencing Culture- Paris

This story start by the decision that made last semester break.
This surprise had begun about half year and it comes true~~

From the schedule of trip to the booking... It takes a lot of time and effort to organize.
Really appreciate Ms. Sharmila and Ms. Norji that help us a lot for the trip, especially Ms. Sharmila...XDXD

The original plan of the trip had change quite a lot due to the unexpected time usage...
However, I still have a lot of fun on this trip^^

The departure day is quite tiring@@
I only wake up for meal while travel on the plane...
The food is quite nice actually...

This trip takes about 12 days start from 11 September to 22 September 2014


ARRIVAL AND WAY TO EIFFEL TOWER

POMPIDOU, INTEGRATED BUILDING, WITH QUITE A LOT OF ARCHITECTURE TEMPORARY EXHIBITION, FURNITURE EXHIBITION, DRAWINGS, LIGHTING AND SO ON. IS SO DIFFERENT WHEN YOU SEE A MANUAL SKETCHES ON A PIECE OF BUTTER PAPER BEEN EXHIBIT IN A FAMOUS BUILDING.IT SEEMS TO BE SO SIMPLE BUT IT IS A WORK THAT I REALLY APPRECIATE~

DAY 03- VILLA SAVOYE

A BUILDING WHICH FIRST COME OUT WITH A DIFFERENT KIND OF THINKING. TO BE UNIQUE, TO BE DIFFERENT. THE EFFORT AND COURAGE ACTUALLY RE-BURN MY PASSION~~ 

 WAT TO ART STREET, ARCHE DE TRIUMPH

ON THE WAY TO ART STREET BY PASSING BY THE ARCHE DE TRIUMPH... IS WONDERFUL AND SERIOUSLY HUGE...
GRAFFITI EVERYWHERE... HOPE TO BE REDUCE AT LEAST DON'T SPREAD AROUND IN THE HERITAGE BUILDING.

ART STREET

A GENIUS STREET WHERE ARTIST PAY EFFORT AND OVERNIGHT AT.
STREET WITH GRAFFITI, WORKSHOP AND THOUSAND OF SECRET FOR YOU TO EXPLORE, A BIT SAD BECAUSE WHEN WE WENT THERE, A LOT OF WORKSHOP CLOSE BECAUSE IS WEEKEND AT THAT TIME. BUT I ENJOY IN THIS STREET BY HAVING SO MUCH OF LOVE AND CALM.

DAY 04- DISNEY LAND PARIS STUDIO PARK

LAST DAY IN PARIS, DISNEYLAND~~!
THE FIRST PARK THAT WE GO IS STUDIO BECAUSE THIS PARK CLOSE EARLIER... SERIOUSLY I CAN SPEND SO MANY DAY AT HERE BECAUSE THEY REALLY ATTRACT ME A LOT.

WE GO TO THE TOWER OF TERROR FIRST WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT'S GOING ON INSIDE... IS SERIOUSLY SCARY BECAUSE THE WORKER DID TRY THEIR HARD TO MAKE EVERYTHING BECOME SO REAL... BUT... I ENJOY A LOT^^ AFTER THAT WE GO TO SHOW, SHOW AND SHOW... IS NICE... BUT SO BAD, WE CAN'T TAKE ANY PHOTO OF THE SHOW... 
ANYWAY, I REALLY LIKE THE ENVIRONMENT, SPACE WITHIN SPACE, ACTUALIZATION FROM THE MOVIE AND SO ON. 

THE BEST THINGS IS... FUN FUN AND FUN~~

DISNEY LAND PARIS ADVENTURE PARK

THIS IS A INTERESTING PARK ALSO BUT WE CAN'T MANAGE TO TAKE ALL OF IT... SO BAD... BUT THE BIG/INTERESTING RIDE...... HAHAHA... WE TAKE ALL~~ A LOT OF UNEXPECTED RIDE MAKE US FEEL SO EXCITED SERIOUSLY!! 

OH~OH~OH...
THE DISNEY CHARACTER PARADE IS MORE FUN THAT YOU EXPECT... SO HAPPY TO SEE PEOPLE WALK AROUND THE STREET... DANCING, HOPPING, SINGING AND SO ON. I STILL CAN REFRESH BACK MY FEELING AT THAT MOMENT NOW~~ HAHA...



WELL... THE TRIP IN PARIS END HERE...

Project throughout the whole semester

 The first project- Research about AUTISM and 'translate' to infographic











The second project: Art lab about for AUTISM which you have to produce an art lab from your research in the previous project. Seriously is a bit tough because is the very first time for us to use computer, I don't really get used to it at the first time seriously, this makes quite a lot of problem@@

The final project therapy center: A lot of things happen actually, too many things happen that trouble me, but I walk-through it. I'm proud of myself too. 









The computer have problems and my file is like almost crash. I found this in the morning before we pin-up, is a terrible and special day. Im not able to open the file by my computer, so i rush to school to find computer with the software, however I can't really find it. One of the lecturer lend me her laptop but I could only open 1 board (should be 8 boards). I try and try until my 'daddy' recommend me to try in another software. Luckily it's work! I thought that things would be better after that but the bigger problem is coming to me.

The file couldn't save because it is too big, the frame that I ordered from outsider make the wrong dimension. The frame is too short and too slim from my requirement. It really bring me to the darkest moment. I'm almost cry that I know I can't do that, I'm almost give up that I'm starting to think about 'What if I give up', I'm almost die.........

Problem by problem I solve and solve, I use another special person laptop after she finish her work, thanks a lot! Luckily her laptop can use, seriously that laptop is amazing. While everything settle, I go to print my board in a stationary shop, the file couldn't open!! Is like everything become worst@@ luckily the shop OT for me to change the file format and print the boards although the result is not what I expected.

Thanks to the special person that fetch me also, thanks a lottttt!!
While I reach school, the lecturers come to me and help me to solve my problem's'. We doing step by step, the workmanship is already not important at all at that moment. Everything become not important at all, I just want the board to be there for presentation at the moment. Luckily I'm still able to finish it. Thanks to the lecturer that accompany me, help me and fetch me back home, thanks to the two special people also that fetch me and help me a lot. 

Although I am able to finish the work, but the work have quite numbers of tiny problems also. This is one of it...... The text is hidden and the picture is accidentally overlap...

The model for the project, seriously... the workmanship is not that good and I actually can't produce any piece of it for the final presentation==" quite sorry actually... Haha.. But everything end perfectly, thanks again to eveyone, thanks for the challenge also, at least I have a special experience. 



Before you give up ask for permission... From yourself, from your effort, from you dream, from your future... Faith and courage, calm and passion. People never win but you can always be better...

Infographic Research

Info graphic is actually translate the Information to Graphic for a more simple understanding and also more attractive. Usually play with NUMBER, COLOUR AND SYMBOL. It usually play with hierarchy to differentiate the importance of the informations.

Some of the info graphic using sketches and labeling to show the information. As the pictures show, the drawings (graphic) are usually take 70-80 percent of the whole info graphic, some of them even higher. The reason is actually because an info graphic have to be more attractive so that people that pass by can stop for awhile to look at it. The information have to be summarize and easier to understand because we have to assume that people only have few minutes to take a look of your works.

Another important things is actually the colour scheme have to control nicely so that it won't look messy and of cause have a better visualization to attract people. Playing with symbol is normally use for info graphic so that people is easier to understand.

I try to put in some interesting part to live up my info-graphic. Is not really good but at least i tried something new, is a kind of challenge. But I'm dunno I'm going to face a bigger challenge after that. This board accidentally fell of and I have to fix it. Due to a lot a lot of things happen, I have someone special to help me on it. Thank you very much=)
